FALL CLASSIC REP TOURNAMENTS
The Highland Storm Minor Hockey Association would like to extend this invitation to you and your organization to once again attend one of our highly acclaimed tournaments. If you were not able to attend last year, make sure you
register your team early to avoid disappointment as our tournaments fill quickly. All tournaments
are sanctioned by the OMHA and all rules and regulations apply. As per OMHA rules, teams
will be limited to a maximum of 18 players (including goalies).

"AE" REGIONAL SILVER STICK
The HSMHA is very pleased to be hosting our seventh Silver Stick"AE" regionals for groups 3-5
(BB centres and down) for Atom, Peewee, Bantam, and Midget. Local league teams are also
welcome. Each age group will be 8 team tourneys running 2 divisions of four teams. Teams will
play a 3 game, round robin point series on the Saturday at either Minden or Haliburton arenas.
The top two teams in each division will advance to the semi-finals on Sunday morning at the
designated arena for that tournament. Every player and member of each coaching staff will
receive a Silver Stick pin for participating. Semi-finalists will receive individual awards and the
finalists will receive individual awards plus a team banner. The champions will receive
individual awards plus a team banner (2.5 ft x 4 ft). A lunch will be provided for all teams on Saturday. The championship
team will represent our district at the international tournament of champions for the Silver Stick.
Please ask tournament chairperson for scholarship applications for your players (Midget division
only). Also, please pass on our information to other age groups in your association.
Registration
fees for Atom and Peewee are $775.00 GATE INCLUDED (guaranteed 3 games, could play 5)
and for Bantam and Midget $820.00 GATE INCLUDED ( guaranteed 3 games, could play 5). All Spectators are free. Teams MUST have approved rosters to participate.
REP TEAMS " FALL CLASSIC" TOURNAMENTS
The HSMHA is thrilled to be hosting our fourth series of fall tune up tourneys for the upcoming
season! These tournaments will be for representative teams classified "A" to "E". It will be a
great measuring stick to see how your team stacks up against very good competition early in the
season. Each age group will be 8 team tourneys running 2 divisions of 4 teams. Teams will play
a 3 game round robin on the Saturday at the designated arena. The top two point teams from each
division will advance to the semi-finals on Sunday morning at the designated arena . The
winners of the semis will play for the championship early Sunday afternoon. Teams not
advancing to Sundays' playoffs will receive participation awards. Semi-finalists, Finalists &
Champions will receive individual awards. All teams will receive a lunch on the Saturdays. Our Novice Tourney this year will be a two day event hosting 8 Novice rep teams guaranteeing each
team 4 games. The Saturday will be the round robin with 2 divisions of 4 teams. Each team will
play the other 3 teams in their division on a point system. At the end of the round robin teams
will be ranked from 1st to 4th in each division . Starting at 8 am on the sunday morn the two 4th
place teams will play for the "D" championship. At 9:15 am the two 3rd place teams will play for
the "C" Championship. At 10:30 am the two 2nd place teams will play for the "B" championship.
At 11:45 the two first place teams will play for the "A" championship. NOTE! All players in the
Novice division will receive an award!
The entry fee for Novice , Atom & Peewee is $675.00 GATE INCLUDED and for Bantam &
Midget $720.00 GATE INCLUDED.
